The Endpoint Protector Team at it-sa India 2018

India’s first it-sa IT security expo and conference took place between 24-25 May 2018 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre in Mumbai and was organized by NürnbergMesse India with the support of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.

Prompted by the major drivers of the IT security market in India which include the expansion of its internet coverage areas, increased mobile device use and data theft as well as the rise of globalization and liberalization among others, it-sa India’s aim is to support the creation of a global expertise with a local perspective on the Indian subcontinent.

The expo showcased information security products and services from all areas of cybersecurity including research and security consulting. The conference program, powered by Deloitte, featured discussions and presentations on a series of relevant themes such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Authentication and Privacy, the General Data Protection Regulation and many more.

The Endpoint Protector team has been a regular participant to the it-sa Security Conference and Expo held annually in Nuremberg so when the event organizers announced it-sa would be branching out into India in 2018, we were thrilled to join an event that addressed the needs of the growing Indian market we have been proudly serving for over six years.

Our team was joined at our booth in the spacious and busy Grande Hall of the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre by our long-time partners from Satcom Infotech, one of the main distributors of our products in India. Hundreds of visitors stopped by to learn more about Endpoint Protector and how it can keep companies’ data secure from loss and theft while helping with compliance requirements for regulations such as the GDPR in Europe and HIPAA in the US.

Our data protection specialists were on hand to conduct demos of our award-winning cross-platform DLP products and welcome our Indian partners to our booth as well as IT and business professionals looking to gain a deeper understanding of Data Loss Prevention.

It was an exciting two days and we were proud to count ourselves among the companies kicking off the first installment of it-sa India. We hope it will become a fruitful annual event that will reunite India’s biggest players in the cybersecurity and information security fields for a chance to present their newest product and latest updates, and discuss the industry’s biggest trends and concerns in a local context.
