How to install Endpoint Protector on macOS Big Sur (11.0)

Due to the changes made by Apple in the upcoming macOS, manually deploying the Endpoint Protector Client requires Full Disk Access.

How to enable Full Disk Access
This is required as the Endpoint Protector Client needs to have access to certain files and paths in order to work properly. The steps that need to be followed are:

  1. Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences
  2. Go to Security & Privacy
  3. Click on the Privacy Tab
  4. Click Full Disk Access section in the sidebar
  5. Click on the lock icon and enter the admin password
  6. Add Endpoint Protector
  7. Then click on Accessibility
  8. Check EPP Notifier

Note: If using EasyLock for USB Encryption, it will need to be added to Files and Folders

The above steps can be used for evaluating the product or installing it on a small Mac population. For larger installations we recommend to use third party tools for mass deployment. Details can be found here.
