Why is my camera detected as Digital Camera on some computers and as Windows Portable Device on others?

In case you have drivers installed, Endpoint Protector will detect and show your camera in the web interface as “Digital camera”.

In case you do not have drivers installed, it will be detected as a “Windows Portable Device (MTP)” because the operating system sees it through the Media Transfer Protocol.
