Improvements:

Endpoint Protector Server

  • Admin Actions are logged in the EPP Server
  • Improved experience with the wizard that walks administrators through the basic settings of Endpoint Protector
  • Old password is required when setting up the password for the Appliance from the wizard
  • Implemented a search feature for drop down lists
  • Improved the sorting of drop down lists
  • Filters and columns added in the Reports Analysis tabs to distinguish different OS logs from each other (Windows, Mac, Linux)

Content Aware Protection

  • Largely increased the versatility of the CAP feature with the implementation of individual CAP policies that are now processed by the EPP Client
  • File transfers on local networks are controlled by CAP
  • Implemented Regular Expressions in CAP
  • More countries IBANs will be detected by the EPP Client

Mobile Device Management

  • Support for OS X/Apple devices
  • Enterprise MAM for Android
  • More features for Android devices (Storage Encryption, Wifi and Bluetooth control, Calendar Events)

Bug fixes:

  • Big size file shadows could not be downloaded from the server
  • Once checked, ”File tracing” and “Offline File tracing” for EasyLock 2 could not be unchecked from the server

Device Control

  • Added support for Client uninstall command from the Server
  • Support Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000, Airtel modem devices and Broadcom SD Host Controller devices

Content Aware Protection

  • Support multiple CAP policies
  • File shadowing of the files that have been detected or blocked by the CAP module
  • Regular Expressions are now supported
  • Improved MIME type detection
  • Scan e-mail subject for Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird
  • Added Singapore ID to Personal Identifiable Information

Bug fixes:

  • Some SCSI CD-ROM devices from HP, Plextor and Matshita were not detected
