Why when I try formatting my USB Drive on a computer controlled by Endpoint Protector, I get a message "Windows was unable to complete the format"?

Please keep in mind that the USB Drive was successfully formatted in spite of the error message displayed. Moreover, the error message only occurs because of a synchronization issue between Endpoint Protector and the Windows operating system.
