Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue related to a number conversion unhandled exception that was causing Endpoint Protector to become unresponsive on Linux.
  • Fixed the "Get More Licenses" button on the landing page.
  • Fixed an issue with filename conventions for Azure Samba file uploads to align Content Aware Protection file name inconsistencies between the original file name, reported file name, and the shadow file name.
  • Fixed an issue causing Content Aware Protection policies set to Block only to generate unexpected events.
  • Fixed an issue with the threats threshold accuracy generated by the Report all sensitive information setting with Deep Packet Inspection enabled.
  • Endpoint Protector no longer detects third-party apps as network printers on Windows.
  • Fixed inconsistencies in blocking the print screen feature on Windows.
  • Fixed an issue relating to specific permissions on Linux to include more granular control for Bluetooth devices.
  • Reduced Content Aware Protection false positive detections when scanning EasyLock.
  • User Remediation for Device Control now accurately displays prompt window remediation messages also with the Read Only setting.
  • The Endpoint Protector Client version is now correctly displayed on both Endpoint Protector Server and Client.
  • Hardened Endpoint Protector HTTP security headers. Please contact Customer Support for assistance to activate this fix on the upgraded version.
  • Fixed an issue concerning the Stealthy DPI driver, now interoperable with Zscaler on Windows.
  • File transfers from a mapped network drive located on a Microsoft Azure platform to a USB storage device are now successfully blocked.
  • Endpoint Protector applies Wi-Fi rights accurately when bridge interfaces are used.
  • Client logs are accurately sent on Windows to Endpoint Protector Server even under rare circumstances when multiple external devices are connected to an endpoint in a short period of time.
  • Fixed log compatibility with Endpoint Protector Server 5.7.0.0 or older.
  • Clients can download custom content dictionaries with >100 entries successfully when a non-default WebUI port is configured. Contact Customer Support to assist in configuring the Nginx configuration file.

Known Limitations

In rare cases, PDF files might not be properly received and scanned from the driver when copied from mapped network drives to Removable drives.
